College Readiness Programs for High School Students

SAT EXAM PREP

SAT exam prep sessions are held multiple times throughout the school year to help prepare students to take the exam. Math and English review sessions are taught by DeVry professors. We currently offer Saturday workshops throughout the school year and they are completely complimentary.

PASSPORT 2 COLLEGE 
Get a jump start on college while still attending high school. DeVry University's Passport2College Program is a way for you to earn college credit while getting your high school diploma. Our next program will run from July 9, 2013 - August 8, 2013. Classes will meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00am - 3:00pm for 5 weeks at the Arlington, VA campus.

Get Started Today!
Step 1:  Contact Jen Cadman to obtain an application by emailing jcadman@devry.edu.
Step 2:  Write an essay explaining why you want to participate in the program and how the course will fit into your college plans.
Step 3:  Gather and include the following items with your application:

  • Letter of recommendation from a principal, guidance counselor or teacher.
  • Copy of your SAT/PSAT/ACT test results, if available.
  • Current official high school transcript signed by a high school official.

Step 4:  Drop off your documents and completed application to the Arlington ,VA campus or mail them to:

Eligibility
You're eligible to participate in the Passport2College program if you:

  • Will be graduating from high school in the next two years.
  • Maintain  cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.*
  • Are a U.S. citizen or have permanent residency status.

*If your CGPA is below 2.5, you may take English and Math placement tests to qualify for enrollment in certain P2C courses. P2C students who wish to become degree candidates must meet DeVry University regular admission requirements.
