2012 TEAMS Competition Host Site
One of the most important things you do for your students is to show them what's possible.in your subject.in their lives.and in themselves. That's why DeVry University is inviting you to give your students a learning experience unlike any other by participating in the annual TSA TEAMS Competition.The TSA TEAMS program is an annual high school competition helping students discover their potential for engineering. Using math, science and 21st century learning skills, students work together to problem-solve real, everyday world challenges. During this one day event, students work collaboratively to solve original and innovative engineering scenarios focused on an annual theme. In 2012, students will tackle the engineering involved in advancing health informatics and the development of better medicines.
As a TEAMS Coach, you'll watch as students build self-confidence in their abilities to contribute to a team's success, participate in engineering activities and solve complex problems. After participating, students report an increased knowledge about what engineers do and gain a better understanding of the important role engineer's play in our society.
DeVry University is coordinating the TEAMS Competition on March 9, 2012at the Arlington location. The event will start at 9:00am and we will conclude by 1:00pm.
Register your team online at www.TEAMS.tsaweb.org and submit payment directly to TSA. The registration fee to participate is $125.00 per team. Be sure to select DeVry University - Arlington as your competition location.

Academic Workshops/Tours
You are invited to bring your class to any of our three DC Metro locations (VA - Arlington, Manassas MD - Bethesda) throughout the school year for a complimentary academic workshop and campus tour. Workshops are led by DeVry University faculty and include lunch for students and staff.
