All library patrons in good standing--all students, faculty, and staff whether from DeVry, Keller, or Becker--may request interlibrary loans. Patrons requesting interlibrary loans must have all overdue books returned and all fines paid before their ILL requests will be considered.

  • What resources can be requested through Interlibrary Loan?
Only print materials are available for interlibrary loan. Loaning of requested materials is strictly at the discretion of the local Library Director, or that of the local ILL librarian; requests may be denied, assuming legitimate cause.

  • How do I make an Interlibrary Loan request?
Print library record from the catalog and ask for an Interlibrary Loan Request Form from the Circulation Desk. Fill out all the necessary information and turn into the Circulation Desk.

  • How long can I check something out?
Materials are loaned for a two-week period; please allow one week for shipping prior to the two-week period.

  • May I renew a resource that is on Interlibrary Loan?
Loaned materials may be renewed for an extra two-week period only; there are no additional renewals. No materials may be renewed without the borrowing library first asking permission from the lending library. If the renewal request is denied, the borrowing library must return the materials according to the initial due date.

  • Is there a cost?
There is no cost to the patron for Interlibrary Loan.

**Please note that all patrons are responsible for the replacement cost if books are lost or damaged.**
