Electronics Lab

The electronics lab is used mainly in electronics-based programs- ECT, CET, and EET. Students use several pieces of closely interrelated equipment in their labs, a power supply, function generator (which supplies a frequency), an oscilloscope (for analyzing the waveform produced by the power supply and function generator), and a digital multi-meter (for measuring resistance, amperage, and voltage). Many pieces of equipment found in the lab are used in a professional environment for work in electronics design, manufacturing and troubleshooting.

Students begin by learning how to use lab equipment and then progress to building, testing, and taking different measurements from circuits.
